Test: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has
published a notification against recruitment of Teachers for
Classes I to VIII through Central Teacher Eligibility Test
(CTET). Eligible candidates may apply online from 04-12-2015
to 28-12-2015. Other details like age, educational qualification,

Name of Examination: Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET
– Feb 2016)
Educational Qualification: The candidates having the following
minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in
CTET.
Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for
Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in
Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks
and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in
Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in
accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and
Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of
Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in
Education (Special Education). OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year
Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Teacher for
Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year
Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing
in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing
in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the
NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued
from time to time in this regard. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in
Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or
B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing
in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on
Examination.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the examination fee
Rs. 600/- for any one paper & Rs. 1000/- for both the papers
(SC/ ST/ Diff. Abled Person have to pay Rs. 300/- for any one
paper & Rs. 500/- for both papers). Fee must be paid through
E-Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with
Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank or By Debit/ Credit Card.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates must apply online through
CBSE website www.ctet.nic.in from 04-12-2015 to 28-12-2015.
After submission of Online Application, take printout of the
submitted online application form and keep it for future
reference.
Instructions for Online Application:
1. Before applying online candidates must have scanned
images of photograph and signature (in JPG format only) and
a copy of Secondary Education Board Class X Certificate.
2. Log on through the website www.ctet.nic.in.
3. Click on “Apply for CTET – FEB 2016″ —> “Proceed to Apply
Online”.
4. Fill all the details carefully.
5. Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature.
6. Pay Examination Fee by Challan or debit/ credit card.
7. Update fee details on CTET website if payment made
through Challan of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
8. Print Confirmation page for future use.
